There wasn’t much going on the 7th and I typed up a blog, I did indeed but then I forgot to post it. It wasn’t anything super exciting so no worries. Like usual, go out for lunch, go shop, pack for Korea, fly out at 12:30 or so, and get to Korea and we had time to wak around so we did. We came to a Dunkin’ Donuts and one of my cousins friend’s, Sing, was asked to order the item in English and since his English isn’t good, it was very jerk like of the person to ask him to say the name and he couldn’t just point. Also traveling with us is a couple, Gloria and David. From there we started traveling to our destination. We met our tour guides and such, one is Grant, he is the one that came with us from HK. Then there is Daiman [I’m guessing on spelling], he is the local tour guide. Then there is Bean [Yes, his real name], he is a local that what my brother and I call our “Man Servant”. We have this huge bus for 18+ people and we have 40 some eats so we can essentially each have our own two seats which is nice haha. It was a long bus ride to get to our destination. We made one bus stop, then we got to our road side lunch place which was delicious, and then another stop before our first true stop, a Park.
I forget what the park name is right now but I’m sure there are pictures of it and I’ll get you the name of it later. Anyways, this park was beautiful and very authentic haha. I took a lot of pictures on my cousin’s camera so you’ll have to wait for those to come up somehow and sometime soon. We were walking through the park and there were so many Koreans and a lot of school kids. THEY ALL HAD THE SAME HAIR CUT! It was pretty funny I’ll admit haha but it’s in so its okay! There were little shops in different places and you could buy little souvenirs and drinks and food even! This place was breath taking, words really can’t describe how beautiful it was; mountains, rocks, water, old buildings,
Next we went to this market right near the water and every store sold sea food and dried sea food. I saw some things I’ve never seen before in my life and things I didn’t think I really want to see. Lots of picture were taken and what not. We were going to buy fruit so the man got up from his seat from his nap, realized we didn’t want anything and he sat back down. Lawl. We ended up getting some steam crab for later, and we even got some drinks just for then. We had this “ice tea” but it was really peach tea. It was good none the less. The air there was amazing, being next to the water, nice and breezy on a hot sunny day.
Next we came back to our hotel and we came to our rooms, and rooms here are AMAZING. Like a small apartment! 1 bedroom with a double bed, living room, dining area, kitchen, bathroom, and another room for floor beds. I made a short video of it so you can see it later. Oh, we also have a balcony with a view. We went downstairs to the basement to spa kind of like a hot spring, different pool area you can sit in with different kind of water and gets, hot and cold, and sauna, and out door pool area with hot water. Saw a lot of naked women. Oh, after the locker area, there was an area like a powder room with blow dries, moose and everything! It was pretty awesome.
Now we are just chillin in the hotel rooms until 7 tonight where we go out for dinner. I’m going to leave it here and I’ll type up what happens tonight, in tomorrow’s blog.
Thanks
-Allison
