Phew, luckily we didn’t have to get ready and out the door by 8:30AM. We are staying at the same hotel tonight which is decent but I have to sleep on the floor tonight. BOO! Lol.
So this morning, we left the hotel at 8:30AM and we headed to breakfast. It was okay I guess, the soy bean drink wasn’t very beany. But other than that, food was decent. Afterwards we went to this place to see some buildings of some minister…lol. I know it in Cantonese but not English. Lawls cakes. It’s weird because there, the “real” security ladies, you’re not allow to take pictures of them, but the bicyclist and roller skater police you can and we did! After, I think we went and did a little bit of shopping, and then we went for more lunch, then more shopping, and then dinner.
Shopping wise, we started off at Evisu and some beauty product store and we spent about 40 minutes there, then everyone ran out of there to go to a sock store and bought socks…haha. Yeah, I know. So from there we went for lunch which was a traditional Korean style BBQ which was quite delicious! THEN from there we went shopping again at this giant area where you have to walk on streets, between buildings and all that fu stuff to do shopping. A lot of little store and stores I’ve never even heard of. It’s weird because here, a form of advertising and to get your attention is to clap….VERY LOUDLY. Lol. And to stand at the door, yelling stuff at people and waving around free samples. It was cute and very different. Oh, at one point, my brother pointed out an American Apparel and I darted in there. Things were more expensive so no spending there haha. We walked around some more and my cousin and her friend probably ran into every store that sold beauty supplies and other cosmetic items. We also went into this department area where others waited in line to get into Gucci. After the boys and girls split up, we shopped some more and I bought couple shirts for myself! They’re very “local” lol. They’re big and very not “in” in Canada haha, but that’s okay? I’ll just stand out more!
Tonight I my last night in Korea, I should be back in HK by 10:30PM ish and yeah, that’ll be that. I’m gonna go lay on the floor now and get some rest. =]
Thanks.
