Day 36 : Western food match with a delicious Chinese style ice tea equals one delicious dinner.

Today turned out to be a semi-lazy day until I got active and went out and did some shopping business.

I got up early this morning hoping to chat to some friends but after like couple minutes, my internet fails so this was around…10PM it failed. My grandma had to go to the hospital today and live there couple days to see whats wrong with her skin. Sitting around without internet, I decided to crawl back into bed at 11AM and slept until 12:50PM and finally showered around 1PM and got ready for the day. It was around…2PM and we decided to go get some sushi. My brother and I ran out and brought it home, and after we ate, we went shopping.

We first had to go to Watsons to get my brother some ear drops because wax in his ear was building up. How attractive right? So while standing around, I saw mouth mask for the swine flu and I was like “OH MAN! I should buy a bunch and give them away as souvenirs for my friends!” My mom laughed at me but I thought it would be a fun idea. Get a bunch of mask, write SWINEFLU ’09 on them and then my friends will forever remember the swine flu. I might do it. We’ll see. We then went to MUJI where I bought some pens and we got these strawberry filled marshmallows that are quite delicious. Afterwards my mom needed to get some pastry/bread so my brother walked around in Lane Crawford to feel the nice AC. We took most of the things home and ran off again to do more shopping. We first stopped off at TOUGH to look at bags and after I walked in, this girl followed me around the store showing me things and chatting with me which was weird…it’s like she was hitting on me or something haha. That is the way sales associates work though, they follow you around until you buy something or leave.

Next, we were walking towards SOGO and we saw a lot of people and cameras and we were trying to figure out what was going on and it turned out that they were doing a commercial. It turned out to be a star in a Chinese drama that is playing here which is called “Sweetness in the Salt” and man did he look cool. His name is Raymond Wong if anyone cares to know. We ogled him for a long time. Haha. Next we walked around SOGO for abit where my brother bought a new messenger bag. Afterwards, we left and I think and we headed home where we chilled for abit. Mom had to visit grandma at the hospital so my brother and I chilled at home until dinner. 8PM comes and my aunt comes home and we take the HK Transway to Boston Restaurant. This is my first Western style meal in 36 days. Best part, this meal comes with a drink, I had a Chinese style ice tea. Best of both worlds like Ivan says. Afterwards we came home, everyone showered, we watched our TV shows and almost time for bed. Still a few more things to buy and I’ll be home soon my friends.

Thanks.
