Day 52 : What? 7 Dishes?!

Holy eff, tomorrow is the day I return home….Canada!

Today, I woke up extra early to chat with a friend and that buttface ran off to the store before I closed and didn’t come back til later so I just fell in and out of sleep which was sooo good. So I got up and got ready for the day and we went out to buy sushi and take out for the 5 of us (aunt’s at work) We all eat and after awhile we have nothing to do so I ask mom to go out with me to buy some clothes for some people. We go out, do the baby clothes shopping and an extra t-shirt for my godsister and head over to this street where I buy my first pair of black tights! Haha. I have ass for days...lol Not something to be proud of I don’t think. But anyways, we came home and then we headed out once against, the four of us, to Wan Chai to buy some candy, then we took the subway to Mong Kok to get my parent’s new glasses. We get them and then we walk around Woman Street to just look at random stuff. We end up getting some reusable bags and a second pair of black tights! I still want shorter ones because these are mid-calf and it looks funny. Haha. Anyways, after having drinks at Saint Alps or whatever it’s called, my brother and I get on the metro and head over to another place to meet up with my aunt (dad’s brother’s wife) to hang out with her and have dinner.

We get there at our meeting point and there is this fat kid (haha, it’s true. We called him fatty) and for some reason, at the vending machine, there is stuck 3 cans of pop and a bottle of water…I’m not sure HOW but it happened. He gave up trying to get them and we tried to get them. We were self named fatties. Afterwards, my aunt gets there and we head off to catch a bus to our destination for dinner but first, a little bit of shopping. She takes us back to CityWalk where we were yesterday with Sam and takes us to Hang Ten which wasn’t great and then we walk around some more looking at things. Afterwards we head over to one place for dinner and it actually turns out that it’s closed so we catch a taxi and head back over to another mall that we were ALSO at yesterday with Sam. We joked how she should of just came with us yesterday. We had Thai food for dinner. We were looking at the menu forever and we started to order and it turned out we had 7 dishes! We’re insane. Haha. We then took out two dishes and made one dish a smaller dish. Dinner was delicious and very filling. Later we walk back around and went to see if we could get Ivan’s new watch fixed (make smaller) couldn’t find anyone so we went and got some moon cakes and took a mini bus home.

Now, this mini bus is something. For 17$HK (which is about 2.50$CND, and a lot cheaper than just a regular bus or the subway) We got from one place to another in 30 minutes which would usually take a lot longer. The second we got on the bus, its seat belts and hand on the “Oh Shit!” Handle on the seat infront of us. This bus was only going 40km/h sometimes but it felt so fast and when he turns it was like “Whoa shit!” Ivan almost flew out of his seat twice. It was totally awesome, at one point, 6 lanes became 2 and it worked out with no injuries and horns honking. We get in and to Causeway Bay and start walking to where my parents, aunts, and grandma is having dinner and we almost get there and my aunt just pops out of no where once again and follows us to where dinner is. Afterwards, my bro and I come home first, shower and all that, then people come home again, we eat dragon eyes, and people are getting ready for bed.

Today is my last day here and I’m not exactly sure how I feel about leaving. I’m super excited to actually be home and see all my friends and what not. I’m going to miss my parents and most of my family, especially my grandma. I’m going to miss all the amazing food I can always get around here. Going to miss the ever so convenient transportation and way of payment with a rub of a card on an electrical pad of some sort. Going to miss all the shopping malls and all the other random places you can go here. I’m going to miss Hong Kong but I really can’t wait to get back to Canada where I really belong.

I have 2-3 solid packed days once I’m back! So excited. First thing, I get back to London, Braden will be there to pick little ol’ me and my brother up from Robert Q, then drive us home where Blair, Marcus, and Rebecca will be there to greet little ol’ me! And then just staying up little longer going through luggage and stuff and then sleeping with the 3 of them (Maybe 4 if Braden for some reason sleeps over too. Haha). Then Saturday, I think I still want to go pick up my Certificate at Fanshawe, and then some creek that Marcus wants to go to, and then Sunfest fo-sho. Then Sunday, more hang outs with my friends! WOOO! Then that’s it for now.

TIME TO HANG OUT UNTIL LATE IN THE NIGHT AND DO NOTHING

Thanks.

Day 51 : So much walking!!!

So today was another day where we got up semi early to go out for afternoon tea with our family friend, Sam, which included a lot walking around.

I got up like usual and got ready and while getting ready, my dad was watching the Michael Jackson funeral thinger and he fast forward at one point and I say “what are you doing?” and he says “I don’t want to watch this” and my brother says “but this is what you watch and you watch ceremonies like this!” we laughed at him for sure. Afterwards, we all got ready and took the subway to where Sam was waiting with her other and one of his niece. We get there and food there was great. Sam’s niece was so adorable and happy about such simple things. I miss being 4 years old and when being able to pick up a piece of food with chopstick impressed people. Anyways, afterwards we walked around some shopping malls and what not and did a bunch of walking and shopping. I ended up in Esprit buying a pair of jeans that would original be around 60$CND for only 20$CND. We came home and my brother and I went to pick up a gift and got some candy from Honey Bee (AMAZING STUFF) and then home, shower, dinner, did some packing, and I’m tired as fuck so I want to go to bed ASAP.

I can’t wait to get home where I live a carefree life with no more worries. I’m going to leave everything behind in HK. All the silly worries that I cared about; I shall care no more! He was confusing anyways.

Thanks.

Day 50 : Oh My God! Day 50!

AH! Today was one exciting day because I met a friend of mine for the first time!

Today I got up around 11:30AM and started to slowly get ready for the day. I got ready for the day and then we went out for afternoon tea. While there, I tried to wash the chopsticks/cups/bowls/spoons but after I did the chopsticks and went for the cups, it was too hot for me and I passed it off to my dad. Haha. The food was great as always. Afterwards We went home and it was about 1:45PM or so and chilled out for abit and went out about 2:25PM to meet up with my friend CARMAN! I know Carman through my friend other friend Cory that lives in London. So we met up, and then my brother and dad went off to look for a bag while we shopped around in Time Square. When I say shop around, I mean do a quick round and then left to walk around the shopping island and then some other part of the mall. Then my brother and dad met up with us and then we walked around some more. We found a BrosProduct store and we went in and looked around some, went to look around at some other stuff in the mall and bought a gift for a friend. Afterwards, my dad left and the three of us went to IKEA and walked around. While at IKEA, I saw this stuff animal bulldog that Mike has and I’m all “AHHH! I WANT HIIIMMMM!!!” And my brother said no and we went along. Afterwards, Carman took us to have some milk like pudding and it was soooo good and SOO filling! It was crazy good. Then Ivan left us and Carman and I went to the Pink Mall to look for another gift for a friend. Then we took a picture together and said our goodbye. AH! I’m going to miss her! Came home, and went out again with my mom to get groceries, came home again, showered, dinner, and now blog and ready for bed.

Thanks.

Day 49 : Mountain top?! WHAT?!

I woke up way later than I think I should of but it felt so good.

I woke up around 11:30 and got ready for the day. Shadow has booked us for afternoon tea so we head over there. The food there was pretty good! Not bad at all. Afterwards, my brother, my cousin, and I went to my cousin’s house to visit our younger cousin…which is a dog. Haha. That dog is sooo funny! We get there and he has a cone on and he’s barking at us but in a happy kind of way wondering who we are. After awhile he starts hiding under the table and not coming near us. After my cousin heats up a small piece of sponge cake and we start feeding him. He’s pretty cute but still a fraidy cat. After awhile I managed to get at hime and started scratching at his neck and back and tummy and when I stopped he walked towards me and put his front paws on my lap and I went back to scratching him. He became an attention whore but it was so cute. Later we pretended to leave and he’d follow you to the door, but when u go to walk towards him, he runs away! It’s so funny. But later we did finally leave to go to the Mountain Top. It was nice. We bought some stuff and then waked around and took some pictures and headed home. Later my aunt (dad’s side) comes over to visit bringing us JellyBellys mmm mmm good! Then later for dinner we had a Brazilian buffet that was awesome. Best part is the people that worked there haha. Boy’s and their CRAZY hair here. Ah, love! Haha. And there is this one boy that goes in and out of the kitchen holding giant sword skewers of food asking if you want any! I thought it was a cute job, haha. Then we came home and we all showered and that has been my day.

I see my friend Carman tomorrow and we hang out for awhile so I’m excited! YAY!

Day 47 : Hmm…do I really need more candy?

Today was kind of boring so I’m just going to keep it short and sweet.

I woke up, got ready, went out for afternoon tea with some family friends, went and bought candy, went and looked at shoes, went to the family friend’s house, took the subway home, showered, dinner, went out again, came home and changed, ate some dragon eye and that’s it.

Short and sweet just for you.

Day 46 : Grandma, grandpa, I’m here to see you.

Today my family of four head over to see my dad’s side of the family and have dinner with them. While there we go see my grandma and grandpa (dad’s side) at their grave. I’m going to keep this short because I want to go to bed sometime soon. Haha.

I wake up this morning around 10AM and get ready and all that to head out at 11:30AM to Choi Hung where my uncle (dad’s oldest brother) live. We get there and we have little lunch. It was us 4, my uncle and my oldest cousin. Food was pretty good! I had this fried noodled with black pepper sauce and chicken on top. Afterwards we head to the market to buy all the things we need to visit my grandpa/grandma at their grave. Tradition here is very different. To visit them we buy a lot of burnable things. Yes, burnable things. We buy a lot of incense, candles, money, clothing, gold, that we put into this giant paper bag to burn. Next we buy a chicken, some pork, their favourite drinks, and some ice cream. We get to the place they are settled and it’s a giant building with cement cubbies where they have their own plaque. We put up all the incense and candles, set the food out opened and such, and then we put all the stuff we bought into the paper bag (after taking off the plastic wrap), spread out all the money in the bag and we burn that afterwards. Lots of talking to them and serving them a drink. It’s a very interesting tradition compared to going to a grave in this park like place with flowers.

Afterwards, we go to my aunt’s house (dad’s older sister), we sit around for abit and my brother, oldest boy cousin, girl cousin, mom, and I head off to look at cameras and all those other things. Afterwards we go back to my uncle’s house for dinner and such. After dinner, we come home and all that fun stuff.

That’s essentially my day and now I want to go to bed soo goodnight!

Day 44/45 : In Macau…

Not much has been done of my blog because I was in Macau for the past two days but those two days were very interesting none the less. I’m writing this blog on day…46 so I’m trying to remember things. If things seem out of order…they might be. Haha.

We had to leave early that day so I was up at 7:30AM, which hasn’t happened since the first couple days I was here…it was hard getting up. Haha. Anyways, we all got up, we all got ready and we headed out to catch the bus. We get to our bus stop and it’s like “Oh…bus doesn’t come here…hmm…” So we call up my aunt and say “WHERE THE HELL DO WE GO?!” (of course not those exact words) and we walk around and find out true bus stop. By this time, I’m already sweating buckets. We get on the bus and I sit with my aunt and we chat about random things and we finally get to our ferry port…station…fuck. Lol ANYWAYS. We go into this giant building where people walk around before taking the ferry and we sit at McDonalds for a little breakfast. I’ll tell you this, there is definitely more variety here BUT they taste SLIGHTLY different. I had a sausage mcmuffin and a hashbrown and ice tea for a drink. I can say the ice tea is a little sweater, hashbrown hasd skin left on it which didn’t bother me much, but the sausage mcmuffin tasted different which wasn’t a bad thing, just a slight differences. That does not matter! We go and wait for our TurboJet and we get on and it essentially just hovers over water with giant water jets and it was already wavy enough out so the boat is just rocking and rocking. I end up hurling up my breakfast. We get off, we stand in line forever to get into Macau and when we’re finally in and ready to leave, we talk to some people about renting a small 22 person bus and that took forever just talking prices and such. We finally pick one and we head off!

We go to this small restaurant and we’re all ordering food and it was just hectic but whatever, the food was good in the end. It was weird because the law/rule of smoking in public places hasn’t been succeeded yet so there are people smoking all over the place, which was weird for me. We finish and we head off to our hotel. Took them awhile to actually get our rooms and stuff but we then later went off. This is where I start to forget what happens next. We go to a lot of random places just to get pictures, I have a lot so you’ll get to see all those sometime soon. I only really remember later that night. We go to Wynn and I go with most of them into the casino to see what’s so amazing. Nothing super grand if you don’t like gambling but there was a show of 3 girls dressed up in cat suits…haha. Not so great other than their bottoms. We then leave and at Lisboa we go for the buffet. Holy crap, this buffet is one ballin’ buffet for just little under 30 dollars. We sat the furthest from the buffet which was a plus, get a little exercise in there. This buffet went on FOREVER! If you started from the beginning, you’d only make it 1/3 or less of the way up the line and have to either go back to your table or grab another plate and a friend to help you. It was just that awesome and the food was soooo good!!! I don’t even know how to start describing it! The oysters with cheese ontop, the shrimp, the tempura, desserts, ice cream, sashimi, ah! So much foooood!!! It was just amazing. If you get a chance to have a buffet dinner at the Lisboa, GO! It’s totally worth that 30 dollars to eat yourself to the point of “I’m about to throw up.” After Lisboa, we walk around for a bit to look at other casino’s and what not but it ended up with one of my aunts and her two kids so we decide to head back to the hotel while the rest keep jumping from casino to casino. We get home and I get in the shower and all that and get ready for bed. By the time I’m done and blow drying my hair, my brother and mom come in and I’m about done and about to hit the sack. My mom starts to complain about how we need more blankets because we can’t share, there was already an extra blanket in our closet (which mom freaked out about thinking it was just a pillow and gave me such dirty looks about it when my aunt called and told us that), and how it’s hard to share beds and how much she’s been thinking about kicking me to the floor. I’m tired so I just move to the floor and sleep.

Wake up the next morning around 7:30AM to start getting ready for the day. Holy fuck was it cold in our hotel room. Ivan is crazy and set it so low that I wasn’t truly warm enough. Whatever. We all get ready, wake everyone else up, chill in our hotel room for a bit and we head downstairs to the breakfast buffet. Thankfully we get there early and there was only a few people there. After one round of decent food, a bunch of Indians/”brown” (I’m sorry but I can’t think of the proper term right now) came in and used their hands for like…everything that isn’t hot. So all the fruits, bread and ugh. We sat next to the buffet so we saw it all. We watched for a new batch and we went for those. That day we go to the CityMall and get a little tour of the place and inside that area and we go into this clothing store full of brand names which blew my mind when I saw the cost. Afterwards we had ice cream which was called New Zealand original or something of another. It was sooo good. From there we head back to the CityMall and we play in the arcade for abit. From there we walk back and this is where we head for The Venetian casino/hotel where we have lunch in the food court. Oh man, food was good aswell. After all that, my aunt and her two kids walk around the mall. This mall is so awesome. Lots of pictures will be up soon. They have gondola rides and performers all over the place. This place is pretty amazing and I wish we had one…haha. Afterwards we decide to go home early so we head over to the ferry. For some odd reason, we booked our boat ride home for 11PM which is ridiculous. We head over there and somehow get some extra seats for the 7PM ferry. I took some gravol like pills to keep me from hurling and we get home and go out for dinner near home. I was so tired and cranky of waiting around in a super busy place standing next to dirty dishes, I didn’t stay long, left after the 4/10 dish to get there and I came home to shower.

Afterwards I put all my things back in their place and headed to bed.

Thanks.

Day 43 : A day of celebrations and protest and sweet kicks.

Ah, today was one hot sweaty day of celebration and protest and then some sweet kicks.

This morning I woke up around…11:30PM and got ready for the day to go out for afternoon tea with the family. We decided to go to another place that we went the other day with the family friend. So we got ready and while leaving, we witness the celebration of July 1st of Hong Kong and then the protest of lots of random stuff…I’m not even sure. So we take the transway and head over. My brother and I were upstairs and we creeped on all the people that were doing the celebrating parade of July 1st. We’re walking around trying to get to our restaurant and it was just sooo hot, I was sweating like CRAZY. So we eat and all that stuff and head home once again.

We get home, we settle for a bit and I decide to go out and get some pictures of the protest. I’m standing out there, snapping pictures and I just feel like I was being creeped on. After an hour I decide to go home and heck I already got darker. Well…tanner haha. I got lots of pictures and stuff but I sweated a WHOLE lot. My shirt got darker too…haha. I went home and chilled for abit until later we went to Time Square. While walking around, I end up buying some sweet kicks; a pair of black leather Converse, sooo beautiful!

Afterwards, my brother and I walk around and we just chill and head home next. We come home and we all shower and stuff, I actually ran out to get me a head band for later. That’s pretty much it. Dinner and now just chilling. No more!

HOME IN 9 DAYS!!!

Thanks.

Day 42 : * falls * oh, sorry bout that sir!

Today was a good day but of course each day has its ups and downs.

I woke up around 9:30AM this morning because I knew that we made a date with Shadow and Michael at 12PM for afternoon tea. So we all get ready and head over for afternoon tea. As always, it was good. I took my camera today and so take I took some pictures today. We take the bus to Mong Kok to get my dad some glasses. So we get to Mong Kok, and as we get off the bus, I essentially take out an innocent old man because of the bus and I was so embarrassed and Ivan kept laughing so I held a grudge against him for abit. We walk around for a bit and head over to the glasses place. It only took like 20 minutes for us to get it all done. We leave the building and go downstairs and my cousin takes us to get those photo stickers with the booths and then the drawing and stuff! It was soooo cute. The place is just full of them but it just seems so inappropriate because of all the cute sexy Japanese girls haha. But we had a lot of fun taking pictures and being all crazy and junk and drawing all over them. I’ll have to upload them soon!

Next we decide to go Langham Place shopping mall and man that place is so awesome! This mall had…AT LEAST 13 floors and ah! It’s just amazing there. Look up some pictures of you’re not too busy! Haha. A lot of cool stores and just a lot of fun things to do! Mostly shop. Haha. We also sat down for drinks! I took some pictures and they’ll be up sometime soon. Afterwards I think we FINALLY came home. My dad and I went around SOGO and walked around with him and we came home afterwards with some coffee mate and got my little godsister those screen cleaners for her DS.

Got home and clicked around on the computer doing nothing and sat around some more doing nothing. At 7PM I watched my daily show and around 8PM I went out with my cousin and her boyfriend and bought me some undies! YEAH! Underwear FTW! Yeah, it took a while because some undies have free-size which means no size. My ass is too big for free-size. I ended up buying one pair and then walked around with my cousin and her boyfriend and afterwards we walked to the restaurant we were suppose to have dinner and chilled there until the rest of the family got there. My mom, uncle, aunt, grandma, dad, and brother get there and there is about 20 million other people sitting around waiting. My mom and uncle go up there and work their magic somehow and got us seats! So we have dinner, uncle leaves early, I leave early and come home to start the shower line. It was nice walking by myself at night. I get home, sweep the floor and stuff, and everyone starts to come home.

That is essentially my day and night.

Thanks.

Day 41 : Ahh! Look! A neck rest cushion for a little baby!!

So today was a decent day but it got a little bad but not overly bad.

I woke up much later this morning until … 11:30 or so. Ah, caught up with all my sleep. Then I sat down at the dining table to chill with dad and I ate this green tea bun that had a sweet red bean paste and whip cream. Gosh it was effing amazing, but awful sweet. Next I decided to shower because my head started to itch. After we all got ready, we took the cable car to the Immigration Tower for my dad to renew his ID card. We get up there and there was a butt load of people so my brother and I sat around people watching and making random comments like usual. Once dad was ready, we went off to meet up with a family friend and went for afternoon tea. Afternoon tea was really good. The dim sum, tea, and dessert was delicious. Afterwards, we walked around the area and saw a lot of old places [that are unfortunately not there anymore] like where my dad’s garage use to be, and where my brother use to play. We also went to Central Plaza and went to the sky lobby and saw most of HK and it was beautiful.

Then we walked from there and did a little shopping. We went to this store called Designgallary and everything there was made/design by people/company of HK. We walked around in there for a while trying to pick something out. I loved the things there, it was very different but nothing screamed at me so I didn’t buy anything. We bought a little pair of baby shoes for a family friend’s baby, bought keychain for my little godsister, and Ivan got a little figure of a turtle. While there, next to those baby shoes, there was this neck rest cushion that was also giraffe print for a baby! Adorable. We then leave, walk around some more, saw some tourist sites. We went to that giant gold flower…forget what it’s called but we went there and there were people there offering to take pictures and print them off right there for you. I laughed a little and then though “if I was to come back for a job, I’ll be doing this.” And I made a joke and it is haha.

Anyways, move our way home and my mom, dad, and I, go to the markt and got some groceries and went home. They made dinner and stuff and I showered and yeah, that’s the rest of the day.

Thanks.

Day 40 : You call THAT covering me with the umbrella?!

Today was just one fantastic day and such a fun day at that with bad parts in the beginning and end.

This morning, I woke up at 5:45AM or so having to pee and I’m all “ugh…peeee…than more sleep” and I already know I’m going to have problems going back to sleep. I’m rolling around forever and I was JUST about to fall back asleep and my mom, dad, and aunt just start mumbling and talking and I bounce right back awake. So I get up bitching saying “Hey, you guys are really loud” in the most annoying, pissed off voice and before this they were talking about sleeping habits and my aunt starts to say “See, they need pure quietness to even sleep; very picky!” She doesn’t even know! So I start bitching back what happened this morning and she just keeps going on and my dad says sorry and all and I know he means well but I was pretty pissed she would say shit like that so I say “sleep my ass, I’m wide the fuck awake now.” So when I sit down at my computer and they’re just quiet as fuck after I’m DONE bitching. Whatever. That was the bad part of my morning. We all got ready and we headed off to early tea. Early tea was good as always and I didn’t eat too much because tonight was going to be one giant feast.

Afterwards, I came back up to the apartment with my grandma and brother to just chill quietly watching a movie and clicking around on the computer. They were out at a traveling agency getting boat tickets to go to Macau. After everyone is settled around 3:30PM, we leave for Jordan to see my dad’s side of the family. The six of us head off into the subway and head on over. Once we get there, we had no clue where we were and we start walking around and its like “Dad, do you know where we are going?” And we start to stand around and it just POURS. We only had 3 umbrellas for six people, my dad starts to shield me with the umbrella and then he decides to move to the other side of me WHICH FAILS so I end up running across the street getting soaked. While inside, no one was there yet so my mom walk around and run into one of my aunts and uncle [I realized that I say aunt and uncle all the time but I have so many, saying names don’t mean anything so…yeah lol] sitting down at a little café chatting and having a drink. Afterwards, we go back upstairs, watch them play mahjong and then my other aunt comes and she takes me out shopping. Haha. She’s pretty fun. She takes me to like these random streets to look at cheap shirts and nothing of my interest then we take a mini bus to a mall and we walk around there for a bit. Place was HUGE but really fun. We just walked around, chatted and looked at stuff. By the time we wanted to leave, it was about 6:30PM and it was pouring out so we took a taxi back to the restaurant and ALSO had to run and get soaked. Haha. It’s okay, rain here isn’t too bad, at least its warm out. We go back, more people have showed up, essentially everyone, and playing mahjong and then later dinner once EVERYONE is there.

We had like…almost 18 people so two tables. All the kids plus one of my cousin’s parents and another aunt of ours sit with us. So it was…4 of my cousins, my brother and I, and 2 more aunts. Dinner was so intense. It was essentially all fish at first. We had 8 dishes and one soup. Oh god, I wanted to DIE at like the 6th dish. It was so good. My fat cousin just kept eating and drinking and eating and drinking! My youngest aunt also ate like crazy haha. Was so awesome. They’re really fun to talk to and just all around fun! They’re great. I can’t wait to hang out with them even more. Oh, I also at one point walked downstairs in that mall area with my girl cousin Glodia, she’s so adorable. Hehe. And we chatted about random things too! I love these guys.

After coming home, there was a little bit of bitching and what not but I really want to end this blog because I’m tired as heck. So goodnight boys and girls and much love to you. 12 more days!

Thanks.

Day 39 : These wieners need to stop singing.

Today is an amazing day because MY DAD is now in Hong Kong! <3

Today, I woke up to pee, then rolled around forever until I got back to sleep. Afterwards, I woke up at 10 to 11AM and I got myself ready because we needed to rush out to the airport to meet up with my dad. We leave at 12PM and head to the bus stop and head to the airport. We get there not sure where we are and we just walk around and we find out way to the arrival hall. While waiting there all of the sudden we get tapped on their heads and turn around it’s Michael! He just appeared because he wanted to because he thought we’d get lost. Haha. So standing around waiting for him to go through the arrival gate. We stood around until 2:10PM or so and my dad finally arrives! And I’ll admit, I ALMOST cried when I saw him. Yes, I’m a daddy’s girl and that’s okay. So from there we chat it up obviously and we take the bus home. Once we got back to Causeway Bay, we went straight for late afternoon tea, which got all scrambled up but it was still good.

We came back home and chilled out for a while and we needed to go out and buy groceries so my mom, dad, and I went out. It was pretty cute; my dad was all “SLOW DOWN! I can barely take everything in,” then he followed mom so closely like if he was going to get lost, and he was just being all like “Look at that! That’s still the same! What’s that place?” It was just adorable of dad. We come home, we start making dinner and dad takes a nap and dinner and showers and the typical getting ready for bed. Oh but I can’t forget this. I was watching TV and they did a Michael Jackson Tribute that FAILS. The artist they got to do it were horrible and I’m just saying to myself “These wieners need to stop singing, quit their day job, and go back to their old job” They were just HORRIBLE. They through it all together in one day essentially; just horrible.

I’m so excited my dad is here. Tomorrow we’re having dinner with my dad’s side of the family and my aunt/grandma. I’m excited. Kind of. Hope my camera performs well.

Thanks.

Day 38 : This is a full girl’s mall…so…pink!

Ah, today was a great day even though not much happened. It was great!

I woke up around 10:30AM or so and sat around on the computer chatting with some friends and didn’t get into the shower til 12PM or so. I got all ready and sitting around at 1PM, wondering what to eat. My brother says “How about sushi? I’ll go out and buy it and bring it home since you did it for me last time.” So he goes out as I walk around the house and watch TV with mom. Ivan get’s home we ate and then we sat around for a bit wondering what to do next so we decide to go out and get some groceries. We went out and we bought Coca Cola, ice tea, Yakult, that purple grape drink…forget what it’s called, and came on home. We sat around some more and I was so bored and so was Ivan. I was about to take a nap until I asked him “Hey, want to go out” Of course he says yes. Haha.

We go out as mom stays home to make something to eat for Grandma. My brother and I shop around looking at things. At SOGO, my brother bought this white sheep, and it’s super cute. Next we walk around some more looking for a gift for my 2 friends. We go to another mall behind SOGO just to shop around. Didn’t buy anything there and we were about to leave and there is this pink mall and I’m like “hmm…let’s go in!” and we do. Turns out to be a mall essentially JUST for girls. Definitely very pink, lots of lingerie, clothing, shoes, jewelry and what not. We walked around and some how made it to this store that sold random things. I bought my friends’ gift. We walked around little bit more and saw this store that sold cute underwear so I’m going to have to go back to that and get some awesome undies! Afterwards, we came home, my mom calls and my aunt brought us some drinks so my brother and I drink up our mango like drink and I play around with my camera some and click around on my computer. Afterwards, everyone starts coming home and dinner is served. That, ladies and gentlemen, was my day.

I’m very excited for tomorrow! My dad is coming to HK and my brother and I are going to pick him up at the airport. Can’t wait! During this time, my brother and I also comment on how my aunts, mom, and grandma tell each other the same story about 3-4 times.

Thanks.

Day 37 : Oh god … this place is huge …

Ah, another day filled with food and shopping.

Today, I got up way to early from a bad dream so I wrote something about it in my personal blog and then sat around until 9AM talking to some friends and I kept my computer by my side and just curled up next to it listening to music as I dozed off once more. I woke up later around 11PM to get ready to go out with Shadow, Michael, mom, and brother for lunch. We went to this restaurant called Red Ant where I got a baked penne with mushrooms and bacon in a tomato sauce. It was soo good. I’m going to try to make stuff like that when I get home. Hehe.

Afterwards, my mom went grocery shopping and went home too cook stuff and what not while Shadow, Michael, Ivan, and I went shopping. We took the subway and then got to our destination where we went to IFC. Now IFC is a big mall full of fancy stores that I shouldn’t even look at. This mall is essentially for the rich. While walking through, everyone was dressed to the nines and looking oh so fancy and business like. After walking around for awhile, we walked to H&M and man is that H&M huge! I went a little crazy. I walked around with my brother mostly and we looked at random stuff. I ended up trying on a pair of jeans and they’re really rad so I got them, brother got this nice sweater, and Shadow and Michael bought stuff too! It came to around 8 items for 175$CND or so; pretty nice if you ask me. And essentially, after H&M we took the subway home. At home, those two took a nap, brother and I clicked around on our laptops, mom made dinner for grandma to visit her later at the hospital. Later Michael leaves, mom leaves and then Ivan’s ear starts to get blocked so we ran over to Watsons to get the ear wash stuff for Ivan and then we came home while cousin ran to go buy some pants. So that’s pretty much of my eventful day, mom comes home, makes dinner, aunt comes home, we have dinner and that’s it and here I am now. Cousin left and now to finishing chillin til the rest of the night.

Thanks.

Day 36 : Western food match with a delicious Chinese style ice tea equals one delicious dinner.

Today turned out to be a semi-lazy day until I got active and went out and did some shopping business.

I got up early this morning hoping to chat to some friends but after like couple minutes, my internet fails so this was around…10PM it failed. My grandma had to go to the hospital today and live there couple days to see whats wrong with her skin. Sitting around without internet, I decided to crawl back into bed at 11AM and slept until 12:50PM and finally showered around 1PM and got ready for the day. It was around…2PM and we decided to go get some sushi. My brother and I ran out and brought it home, and after we ate, we went shopping.

We first had to go to Watsons to get my brother some ear drops because wax in his ear was building up. How attractive right? So while standing around, I saw mouth mask for the swine flu and I was like “OH MAN! I should buy a bunch and give them away as souvenirs for my friends!” My mom laughed at me but I thought it would be a fun idea. Get a bunch of mask, write SWINEFLU ’09 on them and then my friends will forever remember the swine flu. I might do it. We’ll see. We then went to MUJI where I bought some pens and we got these strawberry filled marshmallows that are quite delicious. Afterwards my mom needed to get some pastry/bread so my brother walked around in Lane Crawford to feel the nice AC. We took most of the things home and ran off again to do more shopping. We first stopped off at TOUGH to look at bags and after I walked in, this girl followed me around the store showing me things and chatting with me which was weird…it’s like she was hitting on me or something haha. That is the way sales associates work though, they follow you around until you buy something or leave.

Next, we were walking towards SOGO and we saw a lot of people and cameras and we were trying to figure out what was going on and it turned out that they were doing a commercial. It turned out to be a star in a Chinese drama that is playing here which is called “Sweetness in the Salt” and man did he look cool. His name is Raymond Wong if anyone cares to know. We ogled him for a long time. Haha. Next we walked around SOGO for abit where my brother bought a new messenger bag. Afterwards, we left and I think and we headed home where we chilled for abit. Mom had to visit grandma at the hospital so my brother and I chilled at home until dinner. 8PM comes and my aunt comes home and we take the HK Transway to Boston Restaurant. This is my first Western style meal in 36 days. Best part, this meal comes with a drink, I had a Chinese style ice tea. Best of both worlds like Ivan says. Afterwards we came home, everyone showered, we watched our TV shows and almost time for bed. Still a few more things to buy and I’ll be home soon my friends.

Thanks.

Day 35 : I feel that I’ve been tricked by you.

Jeez it just gets hotter and hotter as we get closer to July but that’s okay because it just means I come home soon.

Today started off with me, waking up just around 10:30AM with my uncle already here. We watched Are You Smarter than a 5th Grader, Chinese version, and then I went off to shower. I got ready in the dining room area because my brother needed to wash his hair. After we all got ready, we went for afternoon tea. We sat down and by the time we started writing our order, it was 12PM, which means paying full price for our dishes. Haha. We washed the chopsticks, cups, and bowls and my grandma was proud. Hehe. After tea, we split up, my uncle took grandma home, aunt went to get her husband’s shirt from the seamstress, and my mom, brother, and I went off to look at hairclips for Amanda. Holy heck it was hot out. We went to a street that had little areas where they sold hairclips so we went to a bunch and ended up buying 14 pairs of hairclips for Amanda.

After getting home, I just sat in front of the fan, so so hot. They played mahjong while I clicked around on my computer. Later I took a nap. After my nap, my mom had to take my grandma to the hospital to get her heart checked, next my aunt and uncle left, Ivan took a nap so I showered and took my precious time. They come home, they start dinner and that’s pretty much it. I’m clicking around on the computer some more and finished dinner and now just chillin til bed.

Thanks.

Day 34 : Ew…that fat guy’s shirt said Rock My World Baby…*shivers*

So today wasn’t anything super fantastic until I went on an adventure by myself today!

I woke up this morning around 11PM and my mom says “you’re up early” and I give her the “WHAT? That’s early? Really? It’s almost 11!” so I dismiss that and go shower and get ready for nothing, haha. But around 1PM or so, I started to get hungry so I volunteered to go out to buy my brother and I sushi!

I got ready and was a big girl and went off on my adventure! I walked off to the sushi place my brother and I go to all the time. So I’m walking to my destination and saw some interesting people. Got to the place, placed my order and stood around waiting. Afterwards, I walked home and got home in one piece without dying. Haha. After lunch, we sat around for abit and I took a nap at 3:10PM and got waken up at 3:50PM to go out with my mom to buy some drinks and other random little things and then off to the market, got some pastry and got some groceries for dinner. Then we just chilled at home for the rest of the night as I clicked around on the computer. I had dinner and now I need to take a quick shower or not at all. Haha. We’ll figure things out.

So random things I saw recently. The fat guy with the shirt that said Rock My World Baby and I was grossed out. Nextly, yesterday, we saw this stray dog and I came up with a sick idea. The apartment building my aunt lives at isn’t allow to own dogs so people let their dogs out at night or early in the morning. While waiting at the bus, I saw a stray dog and thought “wouldn’t it be funny if that stray dog like…raped other dogs? Haha. What would you do if you were walking along and you get caught up, turn around and see your dog getting raped! Haha” then I went on saying how funny it would be if dogs could talk and they made a cartoon about this. Would be SOO funny. Kay, I’m all done. Going to watch my shows and bed later.

Thanks.

Day 33 : This place looks a lot smaller than I remembered.

Today I went out to Tin Shui Wai with the mother, brother, aunt, and grandmother to chill with the aunt and cousin(s).

So I woke up this morning around 4AM because I had a bad dream of my mom hating me and I woke up crying a little. It was sad! And I can’t exactly sleep on my right ear because of some unfortunate event. But I kept tossing and turning and couldn’t get to sleep until around 6AM and just kept going in and out of sleep until 10AM where my mom woke me up. I got showered and ready and didn’t have time to make it to the computer and I was rushed out of the house.

We caught the bus and took a nice long bus ride to our afternoon tea destination. Got there and we ordered some food and this restaurant had the counter where they made fresh things but you can just run up to it and get whatever you want. It’s pretty cool and very Asian…haha. Food there was pretty good! I had some stuff I haven’t had in a while so it was quite delicious. Afterwards, we walked around the mall area for a bit and I stocked up on some hairclips and bought my friend Benji a present for his 16th birthday! Ah! He’s only 16! How adorable right? Haha. Afterwards we came to this store called BSX and it sold Che Guevara cartoon clothing and he is dressed up in different things. My brother bought a shirt for his girlfriend and himself, then we got 2 phone charm straps and file folder. Pretty ballin’ stuff. While there, the Che cartoon was dressed up as superman and he had a C on his chest; my mom said "it's C-man" my brother laughed and so did I. I love her.

Anyways, after shopping, we went to the grocery store and walked around some and we ended up buying a medium-size luggage. It was a great idea but we looked crazy dragging that thing around. We also walked around another cramped mall but it was decent a lot of random things being sold. Then we shoved everything we bought into it and left for the apartment! While there they played mahjong while I watched tv, played with Bobo, and whatnot. That place is a lot smaller than I remember. But anyways, we left for dinner around 8PM, waited til 8:40PM or so, and didn’t start coming home til 9:40PM. We all got home around 10:30PM or even little later, everyone showered, and this is that. Called my daddy to wish him a Happy Father’s Day! I miss him so much. He comes to HK this Saturday!! I’m SOOO excited! This is the first time in 19 years that we as a family have been in HK so it’s something very special. I can’t wait.

Time for bed!

Thanks.

Day 32 : Aww, she’s so cute! I want her!

So today was a great day until I felt the want/need to start punching people left and right and not being so polite…Haha.

This morning I woke up much later in the day. Around..10:15AM or so. I’m starting to sleep a lot more which can’t be good…haha. Or very good? Who knows. Anyways, finally woke up, chatted with some people online for a bit and got in the shower and got ready for the day. Today, we were going to go to Kowloon Bay to have afternoon tea with my mom’s friend’s daughter and some friends. We get there and gosh, Mable (the daughter) has the cutest little baby girl who is just about 6 months old. She was so fun and just full of joy. My mom was holding her and she kept kicking at my thigh, man that baby has some strength! Just everything about her was super cute, her little hands and feet, her sweet little smile, her eyes, her chubbiness, haha, just everything about her was adorable. I held her for a bit too! She’s so chubby! I wanted to take her because that’s not creepy. Afterwards, they left and my brother, mother and I walked around the mall for a bit. We hung out in HMV for awhile and my brother and I looked at all the “English” music and they have so much more! Like…live versions, singles, first albums, bands you can’t really find in Canada, it was badass.

After the mall, we took the subway to another part of HK to all the different computer mall/area/district to find a hands-free headset for Amanda and took awhile. Ended up going to 3 different areas and only ended up buying plug transformers from HK to Canada. Walking through those places is so annoying! I wanted to take people out left and right and I just started to run into people if I had to or just shove my way through, I did whatever to get through the crowd. We walked around the same mall like 3 times and everytime we passed this one corner, this guy would just stare at me and I didn’t think too much of it. Haha. 3rd time around, he asked if I needed help with anything, what a nice guy. Then we gave up and took the cable car home. I’ve showered and just waiting for dinner now. Then stay up little longer; hope to talk to some friends and then off to bed once more.

Thanks.

Day 31 : I have no clue what I’m talking about, but do I need it?

A day of shopping once against for all our technology needs.

I got up this morning and chatted a bit with some friends and then headed to shower to get nice and clean. Afterwards, I just sat around and got ready slowly until we had to leave to get on the subway to meet up with Edward. We had to wait for him so I got a package of Pocky because I was just that hungry. Once Edward got there, we headed to our shopping destination where we walked up and down a street looking at cheap accessories. I got myself a filter and and some other extra little things. Oh, I got myself an external harddrive for school because I need another one; ridiculous! But it was a decent price. Haha. While walking down the street to, some guy working in a store just said Hi to me for no reason. I was creeped on. Anyways, after all our shopping needs were fulfilled, we went to Jordan for a little lunch.

This restaurant was Australian Milk Restaurant or something of the sort and even though it was super busy, the food was super good so it was worth it that they rushed us to order and leave. Haha. It came up to 234$HK, about 33$CND for 4 people, totally worth it. Then we left Edward and we came on home. While at home, I tested out the new filter and a lot of other functions on my camera. And I found some fun new things to do with my camera so that’ll all be tested out later in life. I showered, and then had dinner, now watching our shows and that is that.

Thanks.

Day 30 : Man, I like that this mall has mirrors like…everywhere.

Today was pretty fun but it got very tiring after awhile.

I woke up early and sat around on my computer for awhile just clicking around until much later into the day and around 10AM or so I went to shower and got my clean on. Got ready for the day and my cousin calls to hang out with us so my mom and I got ready but my brother was being slow and we were late meeting with my cousin.

So we go for lunch first at Jusco for sushi and man was it delicious there. I wanted to steal the cup they let us use. The food there was amazing and about 20 million times better than any sushi in London. Haha. Sorry. But anyways, we ate around…900$HK and it was completely worth it. Then we walked around in Jusco and my cousin bought some bed sheets and I got a file folder that does file-foldery-things. Next, we walked around and I saw all these stuff animals and I was so excited and there was this short fat monkey I almost got for my brother for his birthday but there is no way we’d be taking it home. It wasn’t big..just we didn’t have much room left. There were these hats, kind of like the ones in Canada you get at BackStage with the animal faces, but imagine something 20 times cuter and 20 times fluffy and soft. I wanted one but it didn’t look as good as I thought it would on my head so I skipped on that. Next, we went to !Cityplaza and this mall was pretty awesome looking. Every pillar and what not was mirrors and ah! It was just cool! And they had this awesome water fountain that made noises when the water went back and forth. Kind of like the fountain at the Detroit Airport. We had ice cream at XTC Gelato and man was it good. I had Honey and Green Tea oh boy was that honey good, really tasted like honey!!!

Afterwards we walked around some more and just did whatever at the mall. We went into QuikSilver and we bought more stuff. I got a shirt for a friend and then we walked around some more. After enough shopping we went back to Jusco to do some grocery shopping. Shopping here isn’t bad but man is it annoying. Seems like everyone just kept getting in my way while I was pushing my cart around and I was about to start swearing and yelling at people. But we got through it and we went home. At home we did hot-pot. If you don’t know what it is, Wikipedia it, here, I’ll even give you the site [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hot_pot ] there. Haha. Then that was pretty much my night, showered, computer some more with Mike then off to bed.

Thanks.

Day 29 : But it’s the last one, course I’m going to hold it.

Almost forgot to type up a blog about my day. I was too busy talking to Mike. Yeah, someone cares to talk to little ol’ Allison Wong! And he LOOOOVES me. He even said so...I didn't even need to force it out of him. Tehe. So eat it.

Today I woke up with my YouTube videos uploaded so I was happy about that. Afterwards, I showered and got nice and clean and got ready. I also made another YouTube video which will be up tonight. Or so. Then afterwards we went out to tea with some random people, it’s my grandma’s brother’s daughter. So…she’s my something but I don’t know what so whatever, and her friend. Afterwards they left and my aunt took my grandma home, and my mom, bro, and I went off to go shopping at Harbour City in Kowloon I believer and the mall is just full of brandnames I’ve never even heard of so didn’t do much shopping there instead we did shopping at H&M across the street hehe. We also visited our cousin at GUCCI and she looks so different in her uniform haha.

Afterwards we came home, bought some pastry and came home and I did a quick shower and chatted with Mike for the rest of the night and dinner and more chatting with Mike and now in my bunk uploading my YouTube video while talking to Mike haha. We’d be attached at the hip if we lived near one another…but not really because we both have a life…sometimes. Haha. Kay, that’s pretty much my day. I’m happy with my purchase and I hope this video uploads.

Thanks.

Day 28 : Ah! I want it!

So today was a decent day.

This morning, I woke up at 9AM, and that was one good 12 hour sleep. Haha. Yes, 12 whole hours. So I woke up and relaxed and chatted with friends before they ran off to bed. Around 12 or so, my mom wanted to have lunch so mom, bro, and I went down to buy sushi for lunch. Came back and had lunch and it was good like always. Afterwards We sat around some more until 2PM just watching tv and me on my computer and Ivan taking a little nap.

We went out after my mom and I were done watching tv, dragging Ivan with us. We walked into a lot of random department stores in the area and it was fun. Most of the time we were walking around looking for a ring for Amanda and I ended up buying something for a friend and myself. I got myself a little octopus phone charm! It’s SOOO adorable! Later my bro and I decide to go home first and he closed the effing elevator door on me! It just ram into me and it hurt! That butt face. Anyways, came home, sat around some more, had dinner and that’s my day.

Thanks.

Day 27 : Another short day

This time, I really am going to keep it short on what I did.

Woke up at 5:50AM, went to the bathroom, stood around, couldn’t get back to sleep, MSN/Facebook/YouTube til 9AM, back to bed, woke up at 12PM, got ready, afternoon tea, shopping with mom, home and showered, MSN and watched What Happened In Vegas, sat around some more and chilled, dinner and now more MSN and Asian TV shows.

Keeping it short because I’m really tired haha.

Sunday, June 14, 2009

Day 26 : Dog Café? What?

So today wasn’t going to be too eventful so this will be short.

I woke up and tried to get back to sleep but my mom, aunt and grandma couldn’t keep it down and that forced me to get up. I sat down at the table and just listened to music and chatted with friends. Around 12PM or so, my mom is like “You going to go out and get something to eat?” I say “No…I’m not hungry.” And it goes on to her getting mad because I don’t want to go out and get something to eat with my brother because my brother was going to see one of my cousins and eat with him and I just wasn’t hungry so she gets mad. Next my grandma ask if she wants to eat and she’s like “I’m not hungry! I’m just worried about my kids! Stop forcing me to eat!” Ugh. She does the same to grandma and she gets mad at ME. Lame.

So I get changed because we had people coming over but my mom went out and I ask if she wants me to go and she says “You can if you want, I’m leaving now” so I’m just like “Whatever, you can go by yourself” Still giving me lip. She comes home with food for me anyways around 2ish and everyone else. Afterwards my mom and I went to meet up with my cousin and aunt with little Bobo at a Dog Café. It was super cute. There was a birthday party going on while we were there and all the dogs were adorable. There was this one dog that was the owner’s and he would sit ontop of the table next to a plate of dog cakes and not snack at them. He is told to guard the plate of cakes and if a person goes up to it to take some, he wouldn’t care, but if a person with a dog goes up to it, he starts barking! Haha.

Afterwards we come home, they play mahjong so I sit up in my bunk read and then take a nap until 6 almost where I sit around and chat with people some more. Poor Mike, he woke up at 3AM hoping I’d be on but I didn’t even think he’d be on so I didn’t go on, I know for next time now, that dingus. Chatted with him for abit and ate dinner, chatted with him some more then he leaves to enjoy the sun and I go shower and now this. So that was my day.

Thanks.
*Addition 11:56PM*
Just talked to Mike again and he is the biggest dork. Took us like 5 minutes to say goodbye because he wouldn't leave! I had to yell/swear at him for him to leave. Nonetheless I was laughing at him and smiling. As much of a dork as he is, I wouldn't want him any other way. As long as he never wears crocs. I love him.

Day 25 : Holy heck, I’m not sweating anymore, I’m just leaking.

I was tricked today; only first part of the day though.

So, I woke up this morning and chatted with some friends for a bit and headed to shower since last night I didn’t shower because I’m dirty…haha. No, I was just lazy and wanted to sleep. So I got up, got ready and did my hair and everything and looked great. Grandma, 2 aunts, cousin+boyfriend, brother, mother, and I went for afternoon tea. After cousin+boyfriend, brother, mother, and I split up with the other 3 and went to find one of my cousin’s friend to get a memory card. After we got the card we went to the pier to catch the Cheung Chau ferry to go to Cheung Chau. It was good at first but then it just hit me hard. While walking around, I got so hot and sweated so bad and ugh, it was just HORRIBLE. Just pouring sweat out of my body. It was bloody hot out. Before we left,Hong Kong was 33 degrees but FEELS LIKE 44 degrees with the humidity. Ugh. It’s deadly. So after walking around in this small island that has no roads and only 2-3 cars (police, ambulance, fire van) and everyone bikes, for only 30 minutes, we left.

After we came home, we caught a bus home and I did a quick rinse and change of clothing because I probably stank hard. Did all that, and my Aunt comes over and left some stuff for us and we headed out and got on the cable car and headed for dinner, meeting up with my other aunt and uncles and cousins. The restaurant we went to wasn’t bad. I sat between my mom and bro, 5 young kids on one side of the round table, and the other 5 on the other side. I felt so out of place because no one really talked to me because I’m shy, but they are a very loving bunch and I can’t wait to get to have dinner with them again. It’s my father’s side of the family, My dad’s older brother and older sister and their significant other, older brother’s son, and older sister’s son and daughter. They are super fantastic. The oldest boy cousin, he gets hand sweat like crazy; he walks around with a small hand towel (or two) in his bag just to wipe his hand and if he leaves them long enough, they will sweat. My girl cousin is super adorable and super nice and such a cool little lady haha. My other boy cousin is round and big and just pretty awesome! His hair is all gelled up and he was wearing a blinging cross around his neck haha. He is one pimping Asian. He was wearing purple shorts, which makes him more ballin’.

Came home and shower and that was my day.

Thanks.

Day 24 : Ah! He’s so fat and cute!

Today turned out to be more eventful and went faster than I thought.

So this morning I woke up and sat around and chatted with some friends and then after all my friends went to bed I sat around watching tv with my mom. Afterwards around 12ish, my brother and I went out and got sushi for lunch. Afterwards we sat around some more looking at one another and I asked if he wanted to go out with mom and go get us some drinks in the house. So we did.

The three amigos headed off to Wellcome [Yes, two L’s] but while walking I was all “HEY! Let’s go to SOGO!” So we spotted my brother who is so much farther ahead of us and dragged him back to SOGO. We walked around and headed down each level and First we got to this little area and got two Mickey Mouse shirts for my little godsister. Then we got to the brandname clothing section and we shopped around and we came to QuikSilver and my brother and I combined got 3 shirts. It came to around 600$HK or so but they were having a promotion deal and they take off 300$HK. My brother told me each shirt came up to around 15$CDN so it’s a badass deal. Afterwards we walked away from that and headed home. We dropped off all our stuff and headed out once more. We went to Japan Center [Yes, it’s called that] and we looked for full bedding and such. We searched for awhile through the cutesy Disney bedding and I ended up picking a Baby Winnie the Pooh bedding and it’s absolutely adorable. On the duvet cover, there is a giant Winnie and he’s so fat and so cute! I had to get it. Then we came home and sat around some more until dinner time with the 3 sister who are family friends of ours. So in that time I manicured myself. Haha.

So we went off to wait at Time Square for the 3 sisters, one showed and we headed to the restaurant and waited for the other two. After they got there, I was little confused on who was who until the end of the night. Dinner was decent, went from waiting around at 6:45PM at Time Square to getting home at 10:30PM or so. Good day, got to bed around 12:30AM or so.

Thanks.

Day 23 : Nothing to do.

It is Thursday, June 11th, and I have nothing to do what so ever.

I woke up this morning nice and early to chat with Mike and we talked about random stuff like always as I sat around and did nothing what so ever. Haha. We chatted and chatted some more until I told him to go to bed. Afterwards I just sat around some more and watched tv with mom. Later I went out and got lunch with my brother, came home and ate and then sat around some more watching tv with mom. Lastly I took a shower and I’m sitting around some more. Oh, on the plus side, my aunt is finally home from the hospital. She’s doing better but scratching a lot still. Other than that, nothing special. Will have dinner tonight and then maybe make a video even though it won’t get up until much later…even late as until I get home which is lame. Maybe I’ll get my brother’s help. Kay I’m done for now.

Thanks.

Day 22 : This place is amazing, I want to stay here forever.

So today was a decent day.

I got up early this morning around 8:30AM or so because I told Mike I’d be on to talk to his face haha. So I did, we chatted for awhile until he had to go to sleep. Afterwards I started to get ready because we were going to go for lunch and then pick up glasses. After getting ready, we left for the subway and we got on, and got off, transferred, and got off again and walked around trying to find my uncle haha. We find him and we head for lunch. I had to clue where we were going for lunch but my uncle’s wife said that we were going to be eating poo and drinking pee so I got a little worried. Haha.

We arrived at MODERN TOILET; My new favourite restaurant of all time indeed. This restaurant is completely toilet themed. So far, this is the happiest moment of my HK trip. In the restaurant, you sit on toilet seats, and at tables, underneath is a sink or a bathtub, walls there are shower necessities, it was just adorable. If you have me on Facebook, I tagged myself in a picture under my brother’s photo album so you can lurk pictures there. The place is just awesome! Food comes in toilets, bathtubs, squatters, sinks, and urinals. Haha. Just FANTASTIC. We took lots of pictures and I was smiling the whole time and laughing at silly things.

After lunch, we walked around some more and we went and got our glasses and I look pretty ballin haha. I’ll get pictures on Facebook soon. But that’s pretty much it. Came home, showered, dinner, and been chilling since so I’m going to bed now.

Thanks.

Day 21 : Holy heck do I ever need to pee.

It’s been 3 weeks! Only 4 more weeks to go! And then party hardy haha.

So today was a decent day. I woke up and got online to chat with my friends because I love them and miss them dearly. Facebooked for a while and then finally got ready and we went out for afternoon tea with my mom, bro, grandma, Shadow, and Michael. Man this place was like super fancy for just afternoon tea. It wasn’t very traditional but it was decent. I always find it little weird though that we go to places so fancy for tea. Like even the tea cup had a handle! Haha. So while having tea, my mom got the number of the owner who is a friend of my mom’s and he arrived and we sat around and chatted til like 2:15 and I just kept drinking tea, cup after cup, did I ever have to pee. Finally came home andI went and took a nap and then woke up, sat around some, showered, dinner and sat around some more.

I really didn’t do much at all today and it’s been an alright day. Tomorrow I get my glasses so I’m excited for that! No YouTube video or something but it probably won’t upload so you won’t see it ever. Lame.

Thanks.

Day 20 : Well that's total bullshit.

Today I was awake once again at 7:30AM or so because my aunt had to go to emergency and get checked out from her giant swollen lip/face. I crawled back into bed until 10:30AM or so when my mom comes home with breakfast. After breakfast we sat around some more until we took the bus to a place to get another travel place thinger to get another card to go into China but since we don’t have HK Passport, we couldn’t get it.

We later went shopping at Time Square and bought some random things and then we went and got lunch, I got myself new hairclip, came home hate, and we took a nap. Haha. Afer napping around 5PM my mom and I went to the market with my mom. While walking along, and the little eaves things that hang over each market area and the water decided to spill on ME. Dammit.

Anyways, came home, showered, dinner, and been sitting around since. I getting fatter by the minute. I need to lose some weight and just sweat it all off or something. I’m done for the day now really. I wish YouTube

Thanks.

Day 19 : What's "setting off an airplane?"

I had a pretty simple day today. I’ve done like nothing at all.

This morning, I woke up, got ready and we went out for afternoon tea. Afterwards we came home and played with the dog (My uncle, aunt, and cousin came in]. We hung out and I was ripping out interfacing like fabric out from a shirt because of the stitching that was on it. Afterwards I took a nap, got up and showered, had dinner and now this.

Now random things today. While walking home from afternoon tea, my brother noticed even more people looking at me. I just laughed it off because its true and it happens often. I don’t mind, I’m different and it’s normal for them to look at me funny. It might also be the tiny shorts and the facial piercings. Oh, and can’t forget the constant yelling of English words and sounds haha.

Creepy things we were talking about during afternoon tea. The phrase “setting off an airplane” is masturbation. I didn’t know that. Haha. While sitting there we noticed two white guys sitting in the corner and my brother and I kept talking about what kind of pretty one of them was. He was the “I have a wife, kids, golden retriever dog, a good job and a nice house” pretty. Haha. We also noticed how creepy our aunt is. The one we live with and the one that lives with my grandma. Since she’s not married and living with her mom still, she creeps on my little cousin and bothers a lot. Just an observation.

Got a phone call today and the lady on the phone was rude. I say hello, she says hello, I say hello again, then she goes to ask who I am. What the fuck? None of your business haha. She should of just asked for who ever she was looking for. Jeez.

Observation over the past 19 days is that my aunt is more paranoid than my mom. Always asking questions and telling us things that don’t matter and then asking more questions about the exact same thing. I don’t know. There is a lot of things she does that just yell “I’M PARANOID ABOUT EVERYTHING AH!”

That’s pretty much it today. I managed to change my profile picture on Facebook this morning and I did some more reading on my camera and still little confused about some functions. I’ll figure them all out soon.

Thanks.

Day 18 : Oh god, I need a towel or something.

Today was a somewhat event-full day and I’m tired as heck.

Woke up around 8:30AM or so and started to get ready to go out. After getting ready and ready to leave I’m standing there thinking, “What shoes do I want to wear? We’re going to do a lot of walking…should I take out my running shoes? Well I’m not going to wear my black ones since they have no sole, might as well wear the flipflops.” So I got out my new K-Swiss, they’re read and pretty sweet and my purple zebra shirt with jean shorts. It kind of matched but not really. Haha. So from there we walked to our bus stop and waited around and in the window of this store was like...Asian viagara and the pictures on those boxes are so inappropriate! Haha. I’ll have to get a picture up.

We got on the bus and it was an hour bus ride just to get into the area my uncle lived where we had early tea with them. Holy heck it was SOO hot out! I was like… sweating hardcore and getting so hot so fast. It just hit me so hard and I just died inside. While sitting there for early tea, I went through maybe a few kleenxes and was fanning myself off. It was just so hot. From there we went off to another bus stop to get the bus to go to the Tian Tan Buddha.

It was a long bus ride there and it was really hot once again. We took a gondola lift up and took the bus down. The gondola lift up was nice and nice and breezy. I wanted the Crystal lift but 2/7 of us were afraid of heights and the cost was 3 times more so we took a standard lift. When we took the lift, had to walk maybe…10-15 minutes to get to the stairs. The stairs…oh boy; 268 steps. With the heat and stuff, it wasn’t any easier. We only spent 15 minutes up there or so and I was sweating buckets full. While walking down, my legs were shaky. Haha. Shows how much I exercise right? Caught the bus and the bus ride down was SO bumpy. Holy heck, almost got sick.

From there, we caught the subway and came home. After coming home, it was about 6:30PM and we sat around some more until 7:15PM and we went out for all you can eat sushi. Then came home, showered, and now typing this and ready for bed haha.

Thanks.
